Paris between October and December
In November the Champs-Élysées lights are switched on; from the end of the month the Christmas markets open, along with the animated windows of Galeries Lafayette.
Practical tips
- The metro and RER link Charles de Gaulle and Orly to the centre in under an hour.
- On December weekends, book museums and restaurants in advance.
- For a long weekend, leaving your car 5 minutes from the terminal saves you traffic and taxis both ways.
