Data we process

Personal and contact details (first name, last name, email, mobile number); booking details (dates and times, outbound and return locations, type and number of vehicles, plate and model if provided, extras chosen, flight, train or ship number and notes if given); what you send us through the site’s forms, by email or by phone; technical browsing data (IP address and server logs), used to keep the site secure.

Purposes and legal basis

Managing your booking, the shuttle, the car valet and related contacts: performance of a contract and pre-contractual steps (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

Meeting tax and accounting obligations: legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c GDPR).

Protecting the site from abuse and monitoring the car park with CCTV: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).

We do not use your data to send you advertising.

How we handle your data

Bookings made on the website are recorded in the car park’s management software, where our staff consult them. In your browser, the site only keeps a summary of the bookings made from that device (number, dates, locations, amount), which you can delete at any time from the «My bookings» page.

Required data

First name, last name, email and mobile number are needed to book: without them we cannot manage the booking. Plate, model, flight number and notes are optional.

Retention

Booking data is kept for as long as needed to provide the service and then for 10 years for tax and accounting obligations; CCTV footage for up to 72 hours, unless needed for an investigation; server logs for as long as strictly necessary for security; messages for as long as needed to reply.

Recipients

Providers of hosting, management software and email services, appointed as data processors; advisers and authorities where required by law. Data is not disclosed publicly. If you choose to load the map on the Contact page, Google receives browsing data under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, and object to processing, by writing to scarpatoparcheggio@gmail.com. You can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
